1 Simple Trick to Get Ranked High on Google FAST – HTML Internal Linking for SEO

One of the simplest methods to obtain ranked high up on Google quickly is to utilize HTML internal links (also called inter connecting or internal website links).

I rank high on page 1 for the term "online marketing". Why? Because I connect to that page throughout my whole site.

The method you can attain comparable results is by taking the pages that have your finest content and connecting to them from other pages within your website. To puts it simply, develop more internal links to your essential pages.

You can do this by linking to your essential pages within your sidebar or footer. The secret is to make sure the links show up. If you hide them it can possibly harm you.

There are two rules you have to follow if you want to increase your rankings through internal links:

1. Add links within your content (ensure the links are relevant to your content).
2. Link to your most important pages.

It's that basic …

Now just because you include more internal links it doesn't mean your rankings are going to shoot right up. It can take 4 to 6 months to kick in.

For me, it took me over a year to rank for the term "internet marketing".

Nicely done Neil! Many times we focus so much on external links, we forget to optimize internal links. Time to go back and make sure our internals point to our most valuable content.

I think he’s asking if it’s okay to link to Google if his blog contains content relevant to Google. I could be wrong.

Nishaant, to internal link the content from one article to the one you are linking to has to be relevant.

If my blog is already made a label of Google Names. And I write a new post and use the Google word anywhere in the whole post, can I add the link to my google name label in that Google keyword? Can or not

It has to be relevant. If it is really relevant then you should link away.

Question: will this work for a brand new blog as well? I’m guessing it will, just not as fast as it will for a high-traffic blog.

Hi Neil… I am so glad I came across this video. I remember you saying on a previous video a couple years back that Silo interlinking is not necessary and it should be just a bunch of happy links connected to other relevant pages in your website. Is this still true? Thanks again for all the information.

I love the idea of placing my guides and resources in a side bar with clickable links. This may sound silly, but Is there a way to change how your side bar looks on each page? Is there a WordPress plugin or something for that?
